The Limited Download Initiator is a project that is part of prodocsupport.com. Though bensolomon.com didn't come up with the graphic design of the web site, we are responsible for this particular web application.

The Limited Download Initiator is a program that allows a technician to easily give a customer a one-time link to a file. This way, a file can be distributed so that the customer can only download the file once.

First the technician logs into the system, adds a username, a password, picks a file for the customer to download, and gives an expiration date of the download.

Then, the customer goes to the web site and logs in with the username and password the technician gave them, and hits the submit button.

The customer is then presented with the correct file he/she needs, and will only be able to download the file once -- and only a fully successful download counts.

If the customer tries to download the file again or if he/she waits until after the expiration date, he/she is denied access to the file.
