Your class or school may submit up to 50 letters asking Mrs. Medearis questions about her life and work. On this personalized video, Mrs. Medearis will read the questions aloud, comment on any drawings the child may have done, and answer the questions, providing examples from her original manuscripts and showing the original artwork if the answer warrants it. This video is a wonderful way to jump start your students' reading, creative writing projects, or author units.

During the video, Mrs. Medearis will personally invite your class into her home, address her opening comments to the teacher/librarian and school, show her favorite things to collect, her family photos, and provide a tour of her office and the things that inspire her work.
