These subjects have been written and presented with genuine hope that they will be a real help to the Lord's dear people. Much confusion exists among believers today and especially in these areas of Biblical study. Any and all truth presented in these writings come from God and His perfect word. Any mistakes can be laid at my feet. However, I have believed these things and taught them throughout North America and other countries for many years. Therefore, these are presented for your careful consideration and edification. A short message for anyone reading who is not yet saved: I have learned and with deep conviction that salvation from sin and its tragic consequences is the most important experience in human life. Our Lord Jesus Christ, God's eternal Son, said that He came "to seek and to save that which is lost" (Luke 19:10). All human beings are sinners as a result of our parents, Adam and Eve (Genesis 3 and Romans 5:12). Not only were we conceived in sin (Psalm 51:5) we were born in sin (Psalm 58:3). It is most evident, even to the casual observer, that sin has been a common practice with humanity (Romans 3:32). God also tells us that "the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). God sent His Holy Spirit into the world to convict and convince us of our guilt and need of a savior from our sins (John 16:7-11). The only begotten, virgin born, sinless Son of God came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:18-25). He alone was qualified to be our Savior, as God come in human form (John 1:1-14). His death on the cross, bearing our sins, was God's answer to the sin and sins question (I Corinthians 15:1-8) and His resurrection from the dead brought about God's answer to man's need to be justified before God (Romans 4:23-25). For sinners to be saved from eternal damnation, God requires them to repent and believe the gospel (Mark 1:15). The apostle Paul preached the same thing (Acts 20:21). It is with genuine desire that I plead with you to come to the Savior by faith (Matthew 11:28-30). If you through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit, repent (change your mind about yourself, your sins, and the Savior) and believe the gospel (Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures and He was buried, and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures) you will be saved. Please read Romans 10:9-13 and Ephesians 2:8-10 carefully. Also read John 3:16, 18 and 36. Then read I John 5:11-13. May these verses of scripture and few words of admonition be used of God to bring you to the only Savior of sinners, our Lord Jesus Christ. If you receive Him, confess Him as your Lord and be baptized. Then find fellowship with other believers who follow New Testament principles and practices found in God's Holy Word. By Grace, |
