 The
last regular AWANA's meeting was held on Wednesday, May 9,
2001.
On Saturday, May 12, 2001, a cook-out and presentation were
held in the new building. Hamburgers and hot dogs were served. Although
rain threatened, everything turned out great.
AWANA's will resume in August when school starts.

Soap Box Derby |
Well, it looks like the Soap Box Racing match is on for November.
Joe was the best in the last heat, but Sandra may end up whoopin'
up on him with her new "Speedster 2300." Should be
an interesting match! |

Tent Race |
The Tent race was a complete "smash"! Part of our
tents collapsed and headed down the Guadalupe river! All in
all, we had fun and everyone was kept safe. |
