Anime and Manga style
drawing covers a large range of styles. Cute to realistic, comedy
to bloody dramas, the trick is to find your own
style. Even if you only want to draw fanart the whole time, sometimes
it looks better in your own style rather than the original...besides,
it makes your own work unique from anyone else's.
Although it may seem
really simple to draw anime characters, there are really many things
to consider. Like I said before, anime and manga covers quite a
large range of styles. For example, one has to decide if they want
their characters to look realistic and dark like CLAMP draws their
characters in X/1999 or cute 'n cheeky like Rumiko Takahashi draws
Ranma 1/2.
Drawing anime and
manga style takes time and patience. Personally, whenever I'm feeling
too stressed about schoolwork, I take time to sketch a little in
my room while listening to a little music, and by the time I'm done,
I feel alot more relaxed. So, take your time when you draw anime,
don't get frustrated if you first piece comes out badly. Remember
that what looks bad in your eyes, may look like a master piece to
someone else. *^_^*
